Events in Naples
Thousand of events take place every year in Naples, with the collaboration of our Regional Administration, the National Gallery of Art and the Italian Embassy which organize a series of concerts and art shows presenting the works of Neapolitan composers, artists and featuring both italian and international talents.

These events are also including visits to the important places like Capri, Ischia, Sorrento and Pompei, considered the jewels of Europe.
The “Discover Campania” takes place every season with annual musical events and special tours (www.discoversouth.it) of the world-renowned monuments and historic sites of the area, such as Procida, Herculaneum, the many museums and the many historic abbeys and libraries that make this region one of the cultural epicenters of the world, giving credence to the oft-repeated observation that Italy possesses two-thirds of the world’s cultural treasure trove.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Naples averages a population of about 959.188 residents and covers some 117 km2.
One of the first questions students wonder when deciding to study abroad, is ‘do I need to speak the local language to study there?’ Please go to the session of the site “ requirements for the language of instruction” or contact one of our assistant to see if your language certificate is eligible to study at IAN Academy. IAN offers inernational courses and study programmes in english, but you will most likely need to learn italian as well, for work it is very important to have at least an Italian language base knowledge because Italy is not a bilingual country and not only, the job demand for foreigners who speak italian is very high in Naples for every category so it is always good to study italian once it was decided to move to Italy. To receive an Italian language certificate where the four parts of the language are tested, including: reading, listening, speaking and writing apply for our foundation online program of Italian.
The cost of living can play a major factor in deciding where to study. Aside from tuition fees, students should consider the local cost of living – including items like housing, food, and social life. According to the current "Number Cost of Living Index", Naples has a score of 61,93 – ranking it at number 220 of 476 cities globally for the cost of living (the higher the ranking, the more expensive the cost of living is).
