IAN Department of Research and Development set up for three years starting from the academic year 2021 an amount of 1,500.00 euros per year as a scholarship a in favor of students enrolled at in the Master course in Hospitality & Tourism Management aimed at students who, at the time of presentation of the application, are in possession of the following requirements:

1. Being in Possession of a Degree Certificate in Hospitality or Tourism Subjects having:

At least 50% positive grades for Hospitality or Tourism Subject

At Least IELTS 6.5 (6.0 reading and writing) or Equivalent

Per equivalent it’s intended:

Duo Lingo Certificate min 95-100
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English: Grade C
Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English: Grade B
TOEFL internet: min 90 (22 reading, 21 writing)
Trinity Certificate: Level 10th class

In substitution to English Certificate IAN Academy can also consider the Level A2 Italian Language as a valid requirement.

At least 40% of the remaining subjects

2. Have acquired at least 30 hours of experience in the Hospitality or Tourism field

How to submit the Scholarship application

To the application for participation in the assignment of the scholarship – to be completed using the appropriate form to be requested by sending an email to admission@ian-edu.com – the following documentation must be attached:

  1. Educational Transcripts
  2. Resume
  3. Statement of Purposes, which also contains the reasons that led to the scholarship request.

The application and related documentation must be received within the deadline, under penalty of exclusion peremptory of 30 days before the date of course starting.

Selection procedure

The selection procedures for scholarship applications received within the mentioned deadline will be handled by a special Commission, formed by Profs Eugenio Gervasio President of the MAVV and coordinator of the course in Hospitality and Tourism and Miss. Donatella Sciarra Director of the Academy. The Commission will, at its sole discretion, draw up a ranking according to criteria that will consider:

a) Percentage acquired
b) Average marks
c) Curricula presented
d) Letter of motivation

The Commission reserves the right to provide for an oral interview or to call individuals participants in order to deepen aspects related to the motivational letter.

The scholarships will be awarded to the students who have fulfilled all the requirements.
